Antimicrobial resistance is one of the greatest threats globally to human health and has been predicted to be responsible for 10 million deaths a year by 2050 if not acted upon.

BBC Radio 4 Farming Today featured an interview with Dr Partha Ray and Dr Caroline Rymer from the University of Reading on the 18/02/2020. They interviewed the researchers on trial work undertaken to determine the effect of oregano essential oil on antimicrobial resistance in calves. This particular trial work was undertaken using Orego-Stim.

Orego-Stim is a 100% natural, non-synthetic, source of oregano essential oil, which has a proven broad-spectrum antimicrobial effect as a result of its unique composition and the presence of compounds such as carvacrol, p-cymene and thymol.
