We are currently looking for a Ruminant Technical Sales Manager.

JOB INFORMATION
Job Title: Ruminant Technical Sales Manager
Department: Sales (UK & Ireland)
Site: Working from home with extensive travel throughout UK and Ireland (averaging 3 days travelling / week). Majority of travel throughout the West of England and Midlands, where ideally the individual will be located.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full time)

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
  • Exciting opportunity for an individual to establish themself as Anpario’s dedicated ruminant representative for the UK and Ireland. Commercial role to accelerate the growth of Anpario’s ruminant product sales to feed mills, milk replacer manufacturers, nutritionists, large scale farms, veterinarians and retailers. Working closely with Anpario’s Marketing and Technical departments to promote the company’s existing ruminant portfolio, and introduce new products to the UK & Ireland following the acquisition of Bio-Vet in the US. This individual will need to be highly motivated, organised and prepared to travel extensively and regularly throughout ruminant clusters (in particular SW, NW and Midlands of England) to develop trusted relationships with customer and new prospects, as a valued supplier and business partner.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION – TASK RELATED
  • Meeting with customers on a regular basis, building trust as a valued supplier and advisor.
  • Identify and develop sales with new ruminant prospects and leads.
  • Working with Marketing to advise on campaigns, exhibitions, sales tools and publications that are appropriate and necessary for promoting Anpario’s ruminant product offering.
  • Working with Technical colleagues to ensure optimal scientific support provided to customers regarding our ruminant product range, and advising on research gaps where commercial opportunities could exist for new business.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records on company’s CRM platform.
  • Gathering recommendations and intel from international colleagues on tactics utilised to grow ruminant sales.
  • Coordinating timely delivery of orders with colleagues in Logistics department.
  • Offering sales advice to other managers with multi-species accounts, that are less familiar with ruminant nutrition & health.
  • Involvement in cross-functional teams launching new products to the UK and Ireland’s ruminant sector.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred but not essential.
  • Driver’s license.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Ambitious, independent, self-motivated and organised.
  • Extensive network of national ruminant sector contacts.
  • Sound technical understanding of ruminant nutrition & health.
  • Data-driven sales experience and track record of revenue growth.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout UK & Ireland on a regular basis averaging 3 days a week.
