POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION
Reports to: Group Accountant
Responsible for: UK/ International payroll
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
  • We are currently looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator within our team in Worksop.
  • You will ensure that the monthly timesheets are checked, prepared, and input accurately and in accordance with Company policy. You will administer all other aspects of payroll (eg sick pay, holiday pay etc) and ensure accurate payment of monthly payroll.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION – TASK RELATED
  • Processing of monthly time sheets
  • Processing of monthly absence spreadsheets
  • Processing of monthly UK payroll including employee benefit schemes.
  • Assisting external international payroll companies in processing monthly payroll and additional government requirements.
  • Associated monthly payroll payments.
  • Processing of P11d’s
  • Calculate and pay PSA on an annual basis.
  • RTI and Auto Enrolment
  • Processing and administration of salary sacrifice
  • Processing and administration of Employee benefits
  • Dealing with pension/tax and pay queries.
  • Assisting with HMRC and relevant country government return requirements
  • Maintaining a good knowledge of rules and regulations affecting payroll
  • Ad hoc requirements
  • Assisting with finance and legal admin where required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5 GCSE’s (A-C)
  • Payroll qualification (desirable or willingness to train)
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Relevant experience in a Payroll role.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Sound knowledge of processing statutory payments.
  • Sage/Oracle Payroll experience (desirable).
  • Experience of multiple payrolls and payroll size (desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills
