Nate’s background
Dr. Nate Haas is the President and Director of Research and Development at Bio-Vet, Inc based in the heart of America’s Dairyland in Barneveld, Wisconsin. He oversees all aspects of the company with primary responsibilities lending expertise to provide product portfolio support. He provides the company with strategic and managerial leadership to train internal and external stakeholders while assisting in the development and deployment of products within animal health programs.
Nate has an extensive background in the field of animal health and the biological sciences. He is a 2009 graduate of the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and also holds BS and MS degrees in Biology and Microbiology. Prior to joining Bio-Vet, Nate was an accomplished clinical veterinarian in a food animal veterinary practice, veterinary microbiology diagnostician, university educator, and poultry and aquaculture veterinary program manager with the State of Wisconsin. He is board certified with the American College of Veterinary Microbiologists with a specialty in Bacteriology and Mycology and sits on the ACVM Board of Directors.
